About the Project
Located at Fort Carson, Colorado, the project consists of a 10-story air traffic control tower that serves as the primary FAA or International airspace interface, controlling all ground and air movement on this Army Aviation Complex. The Air Traffic Control structure comprises three modules: the Tower Cab, the Tower Vertical Shaft, and the Base Operations Building. This high-performance, energy-efficient structure exceeded the LEED Silver requirement from the USACE and has been certified as a LEED Gold structure by the U.S. Green Building Council.
