Star Alliance celebrated the opening of its new premier lounge in Bradley West International Terminal with a red carpet ribbon cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries from Los Angeles World Airports, City of Los Angeles, Star Alliance Executives and various Star Alliance airline members, Hensel Phelps, contractors, architects and consultants.
The lounge is set to welcome its first passengers on September 25th and will be the first and only lounge currently open in the new international terminal. Passengers will enjoy features such as an outdoor terrace with views of the landing aircraft as well as fire pits and a water feature wall. The interior of the lounge features a variety of rooms each with a slightly different feel including a library, study, media room, lounge, balcony bar, 8 shower suites and a café complete with a wine wall. There is also a separate first class lounge complete with two VIP rooms.
