United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) – Mobile, awards Hensel Phelps the Advanced Munitions Training Complex (AMTC) Phase III project.
The USACE – Mobile awarded Hensel Phelps the $31.5 Million AMTC Phase III at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. This project includes the construction of a new AERL Facility and the Explosive Storage Facility, which are crucial additions to the AMTC.
The project will include protective blast-rated construction, fire suppression systems, all utilities, pavements, communications, site improvements and associated support facilities to provide a complete and usable training complex at Eglin Air Force Base.
Hensel Phelps recently completed AMTC Phase I and II, and this next phase will build upon the solid foundation we’ve established, focusing on building additional facilities to provide a complete training complex at Eglin Air Force Base.
The team kicks off the project in July 2024 and estimates a scheduled completion date of January 2026.
