About the Project
Phase I of Navy Federal Credit Union’s Pensacola campus expansion included a three-story, multi-wing office building, a central energy plant, a parking deck, surface parking areas, and associated connecting bridges, roads, walking paths, stormwater retention and infrastructure. The 319,000-SF three-story office building includes open office space for training space, call center operations, conference rooms, meeting rooms, a cafe, a fitness center, and systems furniture, including access flooring.
The 40,320-SF, two-story Central Energy Plant (CEP) not only provides power and cooling support for the new office building but will also provide redundancy for the existing campus operations. The new five-story parking deck was constructed for 912 cars and 10 motorcycles. The parking deck connects directly to the office building through a series of bridges at each level to provide easy access for all employees. Navy Federal Credit Union is committed to sustainable design practices, and the office building is pending LEED Silver certification by the USGBC.
